Read to Ride Raises the Bar for MISD 3rd Grade Reading Levels!

  This Year 342 Marshall ISD Third Graders earned a brand new bicycle and helmet Thanks to your unending generosity this year’s Read to Ride Rode to Astonishing second year success!  More than $22,000 dollars were raised from mostly small donors of $75 or less!  Along with all of you Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center pitched in to lower helmet costs by 50% a savings this year of over $2,500.  Along with Christus the Lions Club of Harrison County was our top giver this year by donating a generous  $5000 towards this years goal!  Thank all of you so much!   The Marshall ISD Teachers along with volunteers and administrators worked tirelessly to encourage our young readers along the way.  These educators along with the vital support of these student’s families, friends and mentors allowed these students to break through with a new record number of winning...

On the Talk of East Texas with Ashli Dansby and Mission Marshall   Misty Scott and Heather Miller joined the Talk of East Texas to discuss the exciting ministry going on at Mission Marshall. Including the new addition of a walk in cooler, warehouse space and a change in the way Produce is distributed to the people of Harrison County.  Along with that we touch on Read to Ride and many of the ministries adding to our community and allowing each of us to #LoveWhereYouLive.

Evacuee Information 2017 For Hurricane Harvey Evacuees who have sought safety in Harrison County. Mission Marshall is available to provide non-perishable foods and limited frozen meats to your families if you are in need. If you were able to get out with your photo ID please bring it with you when you come. We are open Monday 5pm-7pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10am-1:30pm. Read to Ride First Year Success

Read to Ride Bursts to the Finish Line with a Fantastic Start   Mission Marshall and Marshall ISD finished the first year of Read to Ride with a tremendous push over the finish line.  With an overwhelming community support of more than $25,000 in donations.  The Mission provided 268 brand new bicycles and helmets for Marshall ISD third graders who met their designated reading goals!  The District provided this feedback at their website about the first year statistics for the program!
