The Marshall News Messenger has a well written article on the produce drop! Mission Marshall in the News from the article Mission Marshall is partnering with the East Texas Food Bank to put on the first ever produce distribution event in Marshall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Immanuel Baptist Church. According to Misty Scott, Director of Mission Marshall, the event will become a biweekly occurrence, every first and third Friday of each month throughout the year. “The East Texas Food Bank will drop off a pallet loaded with fresh vegetables and produce and we’re going to do it drive through style,” she said. “Folks will drive up, hop out of the car, grab their box of produce, get back in the car and drive out.” Read More at Mission Marshall in the News
